I was recovering from major surgery. My annoying doctors insisted that I walk each day, as far as possible, rather than recline on the sofa. I called Robin Morjikian, who I knew walked at lunch time. She immediately said, “yes,” she would be happy to take me for a walk. We crept around the Fillmore neighborhood at my tortoise pace. Robin was most patient and caring. Afterwards, I felt overwhelmed with amazement and gratitude, and still do. She truly helped my recovery.
