Change a Young Person’s Life: Volunteer with New Door Ventures
Ready to conduct mock interviews from the comfort and safety of home? Help youth prepare for upcoming interviews with prospective employers by conducting mock interviews and providing feedback. Volunteers must be 24 years or older.
Providing this training by video conference allows New Door youth to continue their job preparation while sheltering in place. It also provides a much-needed sense of continuity and community at a very disruptive time for youth seeking employment opportunities.
To participate, you need a computer or smart phone on which you can access Zoom (video and audio) – New Door will send a link to participate. Click here for more information about Calvary’s partnership with New Door Ventures.
It’s easy to participate. The conference host – a New Door Ventures staff person – manages all the interactions, un/muting, and creating one-on-one breakouts for the actual interview portion. Sample questions are provided.
