Volunteer Opportunity: Martin de Porres

Martin’s is open for volunteers again!

Calvary has a long-standing volunteer commitment, in months that have a 5th Saturday, at Martin de Porres House of Hospitality to prepare, serve and clean up after a soup lunch for 150-200 of San Francisco’s hungriest citizens. Martin’s, as it is affectionately known, is a free restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch six days a week. Martin’s mission is to serve in the spirit of compassion, understanding and love.
 
There are 2 shifts:
9 – 11:30 am (primarily food preparation)
11:30 am – 2:30 pm (serving food, busing tables, general clean-up)
