Volunteer with members and friends of Calvary to cook and serve hot, nutritious dinners to homeless men staying at the Winter Interfaith Shelter located at the Unitarian Universalist Church located on Franklin Street (at the corner of O’Farrell).
Service dates are Sunday, Feb. 4 through Saturday, Feb. 10. Groups of 10-12 volunteer from 5:30 pm until about 8:30pm. No cooking experience needed – just a willingness to pitch in and chop, prep, mix and stir! Families welcome. Sign-up during coffee hour in January – this popular volunteer activity fills up quickly, so don’t delay!
Calvary has been providing these delicious meals to the homeless every year since 1988, when Pastor Emeritus Jim Emerson helped start the SF Interfaith Council. Questions? John Knightly firstname.lastname@example.org
