Volunteer Opportunity: Habitat for Humanity

Help get the word out in SF about Habitat for Humanity’s Home Preservation program! New funding is now allowing Habitat to make critical repairs to homes in target neighborhoods in the Bayview District and volunteers are needed to help spread the word. Perfect for groups, families and individuals! Come help develop awareness in these communities by walking the neighborhoods and hanging door hangers that describe the program. Scope of work will include walking up and down assigned streets, stop door-to-door, and hang doorhangers. You will work in teams of two and under the leadership of a staff person. Volunteers will get started with a brief training and Covid-19 screening protocols.

Location: Excelsior Neighborhood

Prepare: Wear comfortable shoes, sunblock, and a hat. Please bring a water bottle.

Calvary will supply 6-8 volunteers.
