Volunteer Opportunity: Habitat for Humanity All Faiths Build
May 21 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Ready to help build a future for SF families? Come put your faith into action, learn new skills and make new friends. Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity’s annual All Faiths Build . Adults and youth (16 years and older) are welcome. Space is limited.
Calvary and Habitat for Humanity share the belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live. New homes are a team effort, built by staff, volunteers and homeowner families. Volunteers provide much of the labor on new home construction, saving money in construction costs and helping to keep homes affordable.
Come support hard-working Bay Area families who aspire to own a home through a hand up, not a hand-out. No prior construction experience necessary.
Build site: Habitat’s newest 8-home development on Amber Drive (Diamond Heights).
Advance sign up required. If interested, please contact Robin Morjikian at firstname.lastname@example.org by May 10.
Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco builds homes and sustains affordable homeownership opportunities for families in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties. Our values focus on building partnerships, equity, stability, and legacy.
Did you know? Habitat never gives homes away. When a family applies for a new home they must undergo an extensive application process. Habitat’s main requirement is that families earn between 40% and 80% of the median income in that county.
