Sunday Studio 2023-2024

Sunday Studio provides a sacred space for children to play, learn, and fellowship together. We get to know each other, read the narrative lectionary Bible story, and then do a fun theme-related age-appropriate activity. We encourage a multi-age, play-based environment.

Curriculum: We follow the narrative lectionary, so we will begin with the Old Testament in September. After Christmas through Easter, we will read Jesus’ parables and parts of the gospel. Then we read some of the Acts of the Apostles and other letters through Pentecost. A summer series is then determined by the pastors.

Childcare hours : 8:45 am – 12:30 pm

Studio hour (ages 4-12 yrs./5th grade): 10:15 -11:15 am every Sunday. Parents pick up children in the Lower Level after worship.

Lower Level spaces open at 8:45 am. Parents can check in their child to childcare or sit with them during the 10 am service. Children are invited to participate in the children’s meditation during worship. Parents then walk with their children to the Lower Level to check children in for childcare/Sunday Studio.

Safety: We use hand sanitizer and do a quick visual health check. If children have symptoms (runny nose, fever or cough) we ask that they sit with parents during worship. Lower Level windows are open. The Infant Room and Classrooms both have air purifiers. We have a Child, Youth, and Vulnerable Adults Policy that you can access by clicking here.
