Sunday Studio 2022-2023

Sunday Studio provides a sacred space for children to play, learn, and fellowship together. We get to know each other at welcome time, read the narrative lectionary Bible story, and then do a fun theme-related activity.

We’ll begin with the Old Testament in September, after Christmas will go through one gospel through Easter, and then Acts and other letters through Pentecost.

Children can attend childcare starting at 8:30 am or sit with adults in the 10 am service, participate in the children’s meditation, and then walk with Alison Faison to the Lower Level for Sunday Studio from 10:15 – 11:15 am.

Since children under 12 are unvaccinated, we ask that all parents, children, adults, director, and childcare team teachers wear masks and follow Covid-19 protocols. Alison Faison and all employed childcare team teachers and parent volunteers are vaccinated.

Studio hour (ages 4-12 yrs./5th grade): 10:15 -11:15 am every Sunday.

Parents pick up children in the Lower Level.

Childcare hours : 8:30 am – 12:30 pm

Parents can drop off children: infants to 5th graders for childcare at Lower Level check in registration area. Childcare is provided during Adult Education events following the worship service.

Infants & Toddlers (birth to 3 yrs.) – Drummers

Preschoolers (3-5 yrs.) – Singers

K & 1st graders (6-7 yrs.) – Dancers

2nd & 3rd graders (8-9 yrs) – Photographers

4th & 5th graders (10 – 12 yrs.) – Videographers
