Come home to Calvary
Senior Adults Tuesday Program
December 13 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Holiday Music from The Songbirds
We will enjoy holiday music from one of our favorite groups, The Songbirds, a choir of women’s voices. Festive attire encouraged, as we celebrate Advent and Christmas! Soup and salad lunch follows ($2). Special Christmas cookies for dessert.
Volunteer Opportunity: Please plan to stay after lunch to help serve others in need. Join us following lunch as we assemble 100 women’s hygiene kits to donate to The Hope Center. A program of SF SafeHouse, the Center provides a safe and inclusive space in the Tenderloin for women who are experiencing homelessness and/or sexual exploitation.
Please Note: Proof of vaccination will be required for all attendees, and masks must be worn at all times when not actively eating or drinking. If this is your first time at Seniors, please plan to arrive early to register and show your proof of vaccination status before you can join the fun in Calvin Hall.
Note: Due to the Christmas holiday, we will NOT gather for a brown bag lunch on December 27. Our next gathering will be January 10. Look for your January Senior Adults newsletter in the mail/email after Christmas.
Are you sixty plus?
Senior Adults—Calvary members and non-members alike—are welcome at Calvary to enjoy lively fellowship in a convivial atmosphere.
The Senior Adults group meets on the second Tuesday of the month for a program and hot lunch. Our program schedule includes speakers, performers, movies and more.
We also meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month for an informal brown bag lunch and fellowship.
Attendees range in age from 60 to 90+. Proof of vaccination is required and masks must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking.
