Church Properties as Low Income Housing with Rev. Theresa Cho

SB 4 is a bill seeking to streamline development of low income housing on properties owned by religious organizations. The Rev. Theresa Cho has on-the-ground experience with this on behalf of San Francisco Presbytery and will share her experiences with the organizing, red tape, minutia, and the challenges and joys of trying to turn church properties into low income housing in San Francisco. SB 4 could help, and there has to be more.

The Rev. Theresa Cho is former moderator of San Francisco Presbytery and a pastor at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, a neighbor in SF! In 2019, she completed her Doctor of Ministry degree at Fuller Theological Seminary, focusing on leading congregational and organizational change.
