Calvary Confirmation Class 2021-2022

Confirmation Class is one of the foundational steps in a young person’s journey of faith. As such, making the time to learn about our faith requires a significant commitment to the journey. It is a time when youth can build deeper relationships – with their peers and classmates, other trusted adults in the church, and their pastors – and claim faith as their own.

This year’s Confirmation Class begins on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 9:00 am – 9:45 am and runs every Sunday through March 6, 2022. Our recommendation is that confirmands be 13 or turning 13 during the school year. The class officially ends on Confirmation Sunday (April 24, 2022) during the 10 am service with a celebration of the new Confirmands through their leadership in worship.

This year’s confirmation class will be offered in hybrid-style with the option for Zoom. Please attend in person whenever able and join us via Zoom only when traveling or out of town. The Zoom experience will be secondary to the in-person experience, meaning that questions will first be extended to those in-person and then to those on Zoom. Online participants are welcome to use the chat for questions throughout the class, but the chat will be checked towards the end of the class rather than throughout.
