Come home to Calvary
Please join us for the opening of Calvary’s Church-Wide Art Show. Members of the congregations have submitted art that they created either during the pandemic or that represents and remembers what they experienced during the pandemic.
Tony Bravo, Arts and Culture Reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, will share with us how and why art can be therapeutic and help us process, heal, and move through something as difficult as a pandemic.
Tony Bravo specializes in stories about the intersections between arts, culture and lifestyle. His column appears in print every Monday in Datebook. He is an adjunct instructor at the City College of San Francisco Fashion Department and a fourth-generation San Franciscan.
All are then invited to view the various artwork and speak with the artists.
For all who want to participate:
Please submit your artwork to Rev. Joann H Lee at joannlee@calpres.org with your name, a title, and a brief description (2 or 3 sentences) of how this piece connects with your experience during the pandemic.
