Academy Orchestra & Chancel Choir Concert

The Calvary Chancel Choir is pleased to again partner with the San Francisco Academy Orchestra, Andrei Gorbatenko, Director, for a special concert on Palm Sunday afternoon.

The Chancel Choir, soloists, and Orchestra will present Handel’s Chandos Anthem No. 6 “As Pants the Hart”, a soulful, virtuosic setting of Psalm 42, a perfect start to our holy week solemnities. The Academy Orchestra will round out the program with Mozart’s late masterpiece, Symphony No. 40.

Tickets are $25 (general) or $15 (students/seniors) and will be available at the door. Masks and proof of vaccination required.
