“A Poet’s Love”: A 30-minute concert featuring Schumann’s “Dichterliebe”

Join baritone Ben Kazez and pianist Maria Lukarska for a short concert, sponsored by Calvary’s Music Ministry Team,  featuring Schumann’s beautiful song cycle, Dichterliebe. Ben graduated from London’s Guildhall School and has sung as soloist in London, Barcelona, San Diego, Cincinnati, and San Francisco, and in the Monteverdi Choir under Sir John Eliot Gardiner. Maria Lukarska studied piano at the Regional Conservatory of Grenoble, where she accompanied Poulenc operas and performed in various solo and collaborative piano projects, with a focus on twentieth-century French composers.

The concert will take place in the sanctuary, with plenty of room for social distancing.
