So Much Left To Do: Seeking Real Welcome for LGBTQIA People in Church and Society with Executive Director of the Covenant Network, Rev. Brian Ellison
The Presbyterian Church (USA) has adopted policies to permit the ordination and marriage of LGBTQIA people. But that doesn’t mean that we as a church — or as a nation — are fully living into vision of justice and equality for all God’s people. This class will explore the church’s journey toward inclusion and ask how welcoming we have — and have not — become. We’ll talk about the ongoing work of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians for justice. And we’ll explore how Calvary has historically been — and in the future can be — part of the Church’s transformation.
