The Intersection of Fear and Joy

The women head to the tomb in the early morning dark, but not to celebrate Easter. They are going to mourn the death of their friend and teacher. It is while they are tending to their grief that they receive a message of joy. He is risen! Sometimes we want to avoid our grief and rush back to ‘normal’, but joy that first knows grief is where the magic happens.
