| Connecting with the City at Calvary |
Serving opportunities at Calvary are focused on addressing
the needs of the hungry, poor, homeless and vulnerable
members of the community. We strive to respond to Christ's
call for service to others by:
- Serving God and God's people with our time, talents
and treasures
- Encouraging each other in faith through service, and
- Loving and nurturing others as God loves and cares for
us
Through the work of Calvary's deacons,
the coordinating of volunteering
opportunities and the matching
of members' skills and passions with these opportunities,
participating volunteers are able to touch a wide range
of God's people and offer financial help, warm clothes,
food, respect and compassion on an ongoing basis.
